# In geval van onbeschikbaarheid

In dit geval werkt het CDN niet meer. De widget wordt niet meer weergegeven en het script voor toestemmingsbeheer wordt niet geladen. De browser geeft een 404-fout terug die onzichtbaar is voor de internetgebruiker

Deze onbeschikbaarheid heeft echter geen andere gevolgen voor de internetgebruiker dan dat hij zijn keuzes met betrekking tot cookies niet kan beheren. Bijgevolg wordt de toestemmingsopslag niet gelezen en wordt er geen toestemming verleend in de browser van de internetgebruiker. Toestemmingsacties worden geactiveerd door de widget op de browser

Bovendien gaan toestemmingen die al zijn vastgelegd in de Dastra-toepassing niet verloren, maar worden deze hersteld wanneer de service opnieuw wordt gestart.

Voor de internetgebruiker geldt dus dat als de widget niet beschikbaar is, er geen cookies worden geplaatst waarvoor toestemming nodig is die door de widget worden beheerd en er geen keuze kan worden gemaakt.

Onder deze omstandigheden is het niet nodig om te voorzien in een specifieke gedowngradede modus, omdat alleen cookies en tracers waarvoor geen toestemming is vereist (via een positieve actie op de widget) worden gelezen en gedeponeerd.
