# 3. Steuern

Der Schritt der Risikobewältigung entspricht der Antwort auf das identifizierte Risiko.

Mehrere Antworten sind möglich:

* die ***Reduzierung** des Risikos*: Maßnahmen müssen umgesetzt werden, um das Risiko zu reduzieren
* die ***Akzeptanz** des Risikos*: das Bruttorisiko wird von der Organisation ohne Reduzierungsmaßnahmen akzeptiert
* die ***Vermeidung** des Risikos*: das Risiko verhindert die Durchführung der betreffenden Aktivität
* der ***Transfer** des Risikos*: das Risiko, das auf der Organisation lastet, kann auf eine andere Organisation übertragen werden (z. B. über eine Versicherung)
* die ***Übernahme** des Risikos*: das Risiko sollte Gegenstand von Reduzierungsmaßnahmen sein, aber die Organisation akzeptiert, diese nicht umzusetzen

Diese Verantwortung liegt beim Inhaber des Risikos.
